Ingredients
Marble or Medium Cheddar
Started with 7onces Marble Cheese
Melted = 4.1 oz.
Crumbs = 1 ¼ c.
Preparation
Slice cheese 1/8 - ¼ inch slices
Slice enough cheese to place on your parchment paper covered sided pan
Leave 1 ½-2 inch between each piece of cheese
Place in 350° oven for 15 minutes
Check cheese, you want them melted and lightly toasted, you don’t want the cheese soft
You may have to put them back in the oven for another 1-3 minutes
Take a paper towel and soak up the grease from the top of the cheese
Cover another pan with paper towels then move melted cheese to the new pan to soak up the grease
Place a paper towel on the top of the cheese
Let sit overnight
Remove cheese from the pan and place dried melted cheese in a food processor
Beat until you have cheese crumbs
Store in a sealed container in the fridge
