About the Recipe
Ingredients
300g or 10oz. Hard Cheese, Gouda or Cheddar or Marble
~you can use more if you wish
Preparation
Cut cheese into slices about ¼ inch slice
Then cut them into squares or rectangles
Arrange on parchment paper covered jelly roll pan, not touching
Cover with a clean dish towel
Let sit on counter for 4-5 days, the cheese will dry
Cheese will harden when ready
Heat a frying pan medium to low heat
Pat the cheese with your towel to pick up some of the grease off the cheese
Place some of the cheese in your warm pan
Watch so they don’t burn, move them around and flip them over when they are lightly toasted
Pour them onto a paper towel covered plate
Repeat until all the cheese is popped
Store uncovered on the counter eat within a few days
